A member asked:

I'm 23weeks pregnant and i have a fear of my baby being still born or something goes wrong before she's born is this rare?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Normal: Apprehension about the baby's well being, especially when it is the first one, is part of normal feelings that mothers and parents go through. Keeping prenatal care appointments is the best a mom to be can do to have the best outcome possible: a healthy baby. And yes, while stillbirth do happen, they are rare and in most cases not preventable.
