32 y/o female, 5'8" 134 lbs. veins suddenly bulging in extremities and very visible all over. shaky/fatigued after a shower. orthostatic bp normal.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Veins: Veins in the extremities can be distended when they are dependent but normal veins will collapse(empty) when the arms or legs are elevated. If they don't empty there may be some pathology. Edema of the hands or ankles would also indicate a problem. Exposure to excessive heat from a hot shower may drop your blood pressure enough to cause transient weakness. See your MD for general evaluation
