My step father is very sick, he has extreme fatigue to the point where he cant get out of bed also bulging veins and barely sleeps at night, what do you think could cause this?

The information is inadequate to make a determination of the cause. However, your concern is justified and I advise you to have your father evaluated by his physician. It is possible that he may require a cardiology evaluation. Please do this as soon as you can. Good luck.
