A member asked:

I have been feeling a stitch like pain in my fallopian tube area on and off for the past year, and i only bleed on one side of the tampon?

Tampon placement: The pain needs GYN MD evaluation. The one sided tampon bleeding is due to the tampon placement displacing the cervix to its side and therefore the blood drainage will only appear on that side.

Fallopian tubes: The anatomy of your Fallopian tubes can be visualized by a histosalpingogram. They inject dye thru your cervix into your uterus and then into the tubes which are then seen on X-Ray. The bleeding on one side could be due to a bifid uterus. Speak to your OB.
