No known risks.: MRIs use radio waves and strong magnetic currents to create images. There are no known health risks for these types of "radiation" because they have not been shown to damage DNA. Try to limit the number of Xrays and CTs that you get in a short period of time, but even these kinds of xrays are OK if only done occasionally. MRI is fine, though. Don't worry.

There is no known risk for MRI studies in patients. To be cautious, MRI is limited in first trimester of pregnancy. An MRI study will raise your body temperature approximately one degree temporarily.
