A member asked:

Does a "normal ecg" report indicates there is nothing like lbbb or past heart attack, stroke or cardiac attack ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

ECG not great.: While certain things, like a LBBB, would be evident and obvious on an ECG, other things, like previous heart attacks, or more importantly the risk for a future heart attack, may be frustratingly absent from a resting ECG. Echocardiogram and stress test may be more useful cardiac tests for risk stratification.
