Contact allergy: If your eyeballs are not involved, your problem may be from a contact allergy to something you have used on your face especially eye makeups. Touching the lids before the nail polish has totally dried up or using a rubber applicator when you are allergic to latex may be potential allergens as well. If you have a condition known as rosacea, this may involve the lids. See Dermatologist.
