Hopefully, yes!: Autoimmune diseases can run in families and you have autoimmune diseases (AS, Behcets) that are related to RA and PsA, probably due a genetic predisposition to those types of diseases. Hopefully, you respond well to MTX, particularly if your mother did so. Being exposed to MTX in utero should not negatively affect the ability of MTX to help you. Please consult your rheumatologist for more info.
