Groin discomfort: If you received an injection in the area of current discomfort, there may have been some injury to the nerves or other tissues in that region. If that's the mechanism or cause of your discomfort, I would expect eventual resolution of the discomfort but it may take months for full recovery. Have your physician examine the area of concern to rule out other pathology like a hernia or lymph nodes
