May be a hernia. : You should make an appt with a flesh and blood doc who can examine you directly, not a virtual Doctor. If you have not found someone to your satisfaction in Brooklyn then I have an office in Manhattan. It sounds like you might have either a direct or indirect hernia. If you indeed have that as the cause of your problem there is a good surgical fix for it!
