Teach some sign: A lot of his aggression is likely due to frustration about not being able to communicate his needs/wants. If you can find a local source that will help teach you both sign language, at least enough for him to communicate hunger/thirst/desire to play/etc. this may settle down. The learning pathways for this type of communication can bypass his speech and language issue.
