Tick bite: Depends on what is being treated. Talk to the pharmacist as he can check the dose.

Hard to tell: Dosing of medication with children is usually calculated using their current weight. Review any concerns about the dose and choice of medication with your prescribing physician. Arrange for a following to allow your doctor an importunity to review treatment, what kind of tick was isolated, do you live in an area endemic for Lyme disease etc.. Take care
