A member asked:

I have a sharp pain in the tip of my second toe when pressure is applied to it. i don't have pain anywhere else in my feet.

Consult podiatrist: the second toe is often the 'lead dog' in your walking foot, and thus takes more potentially damaging pressure. There are many physiological causes of pain...abnormal nerve pressure, joint lining inflammation, etc. Try padding, or a change of shoes, or off the shelf orthotic supports, and consult a podiatrist if the problem continues.
