Baker's cyst: This is probably a baker's cyst (also known as a popliteal cyst). It may hurt until something is done about it. See an orthopedist.

Osgood Schlatter's?: In case you were referring to the anterior (front) part of the knee, you're probably trying to think of osgood schlatter's disease, which occurs at the site of attachment of the quadriceps tendon to the tibial tuberosity, below the patella (kneecap). Search on it and see what you think.
