"Premature beats" : I believe that you are referring to what are called "premature beats". These beats are due to early (premature) impulses that arise from either the top or the bottom chambers of the heart. They occur in 100% of human beings; some of us have more than others; most of us don't feel them at all, but a minority are very aware of them. They are usually benign, don't need treatment unless v troubling.
