Unlikely, but . . .: Prior to colonoscopy, one has to drink lots of icky fluids to clean out bowel. As a result, one usually loses weight. OTOH 3# weight gain in one day could be from bloating unrelated to procedure. Or more likely, use of different scales at different times of day in different amounts of clothing. Be sure to pay more attention to how your clothes fit than actual weight (using same scale at same time)
