Are green apples good for lpr? are they low in acid?

Dr. Alvin Lin answered

LPR diet: By LPR, I assume you're referring to laryngopharyngeal reflux. Check out http://med.stanford.edu/content/dam/sm/ohns/documents/voicecenter/resources/Stanford_ENT_Clinic-LPR_Protocol.pdf & http://uthscsa.edu/oto/LPRHandout.pdf for ideas on treatment. Apples aren't mentioned in either. Nutritional value of apples doesn't really vary upon color (http://goo.gl/EAxycO) & aren't acidic unless fermented.
