A member asked:

How do doctors determine if your uterine fibroid is fast growing? and if it is fast growing, does that make it more likely the fibroid is cancerous?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: Fiberoids, even fast growing are rarely cancerous. The growth rate could be monitored by estimating the size of the fiborid by imaging, such as ultrasound. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.
