Esophageal: pain can "present" as pain between shoulder blades and ACID reflux the most common cause of esophageal pain. Try using an antacid as a "diagnostic" clue....If a liquid antacid (GAVISCON is one of many) helps...that may be the issue! Hope this helps Dr Z
