slight pinched type pain very lower left side back going thru top buttocks area, for 5 weeks. some days non existent other days i feel it. what is it?

Sciatica: Given the problem is coming and going it is likely a piriformis spasm. Try some regular stretching exercises. I would anticipate this to resolve. However if not see your provider.
