Hydrocortisone.: Without seeing the foot it is sometimes very difficult to come to a conclusion. If a rash exists where the itching is, then I would apply an OTC hydocortisone cream three times a day. Even without a rash, give it a try. You could also try a lidocaine patch to try to numb the area. If unsuccessful, the you will need to be seen by a dermatologist, neurologist or foot specialist.
