Abscess: One half of abscesses are caused by MRSA (Methicillin Resistant Staph Aureus) which can colonize the skin even when you don't have signs of active infection. Consider a preventative treatment to eradicate this bacteria. Use Hibiclens with the coarse side of a kitchen sponge to gentle scrub the skin of your whole body, avoiding face and genitals. The nose must be treated with prescription bactroban (mupirocin)
