Had benadryl (diphenhydramine) last night 4 hives. 2day had vyvanse 40mg & trileptal. by noon, almost had a "rage attack". only occurs after taking benadryl (diphenhydramine). why? tips?

Unusual: I have seen patients, especially younger children, developing nervousness after taking Benadryl (diphenhydramine) which normally causes drowsiness in most people. If you need to take an antihistamine, there are many others not associated with this side effect.
