OK Benedryl+Vyvanse: Benedryl is an 'sedating' antihistamine and is safe with Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) (add med) benedryl is best dosed @ night.

Safe but not advised: Benadryl (diphenhydramine) is too sedating, resulting often in some cognitive suppression. The reason for taking the Vyvanse in the 1st place is to enhance cognition. There are better antihistamines. And, if the purpose of the Benadryl (diphenhydramine) is to help sleep at night, there are better choices.

Conflicting: the sedating effect of benedryl may offset the stimulant effect of Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine). Be careful of driving and using machines until you are sure the benedryl is not sedating.
