Chest pain: The short answer is go see a doctor. It sounds like costochondritis (irritation of the joints where the ribs meet the sternum). This can last for weeks, and is better when you rest, worse when you work hard. Or it could be heartburn (acid reflux) in your esophagus that is right behind the sternum. At 31, heart-related problems are unlikely, but should be checked out just to be sure, so call a Dr.
