Stop worrying: It's common for young people to have a little murmur and regurgitation especially if it's the mitral valve. If your physician isn't worried, I wouldn't be either. Ask whether you need to take an antibiotic before dental work. Your physician will be your guide to monitoring cholesterol; at your age with a basically normal cholesterol, you should focus on the hard work of growing up. Best wishes.
