Depends: It can mean many things. It may be small fluid from ascites if there is liver disease. It can be from gallbladder inflammation if there is bad right upper abdomen pain. Depends on what else was seen: gallbladder wall thickening, gallstones, etc?

Depends: Fluid confined to the area around the gallbladder suggests inflammation of the gallbladder, especially if there are associated symptoms such as pain in the upper right abdomen. There are a number of other reasons that fluid might accumulate in the abdomen, most commonly cirrhosis of the liver, so your doctor will need to assess the cause.
