Some colds take: longer than 5 days to resolve.Other possibilities include a secondary bacterial infection like Bronchitis or Pneumonia,which would require antibiotics.Do you have a history of Asthma or Hay Fever?Colds can activate Asthma and cause persistent cough,increaced mucus production,and shortness of breath.If persists or fever develops,you must c an MD.Cheerio.
