A member asked:

Is it normal to get a colorectal cancer screening every year i ..had one 4 years ago negative dr office said i don't need another one?

Depends: YES if you are in high risk group like familial polyposis , genetic disposition etc. Some physicians routinely will do in an annual check relatively inexpensive test 'stool for occult blood' . Normal population with out any colonic polyps and no symptoms will need colonoscopy every 5 yrs.
