Exam: Gyn docs screen for colo-rectal cancer the same as any other doc. Rectal exam checking for lesions, screening for blood in the GI tract, and referring high-risk patients for colonoscopy when indicated. We also follow the same guidelines for referring patients for routine screening based on risk factors or age. I hope that answers your question.
