Otalgia: You have otalgia, fancy word for ear pain. The range in possibilities is from something inside the ear canal like an infection (external otitis), to something deeper, referred to the ear... Such as tmj, sinusitis, pharyngitis, etc.... The itching may be a fluke or there may be an impending early stage herpetic zoster infection coming on... Watch for other symptoms such as facial weakness.
