Specific details: The level of accuracy of a sonogram depends on how far along you were when the sonogram was done. An early sonogram has a 3-5 day margin of error. A late 3rd trimester sonogram has a 3 week margin of error. Since we do not know the details of your sonogram it is hard to comment further. Contact the Obgyn taking care of you and ask them to go through your gestational dating criteria in detail.
