Resistant strain: There may be some otc products that you can use for vaginal bacterial overgrowth, but it you've used those and gotten Flagyl for your doctor and are still getting bv, then it may be time for a different med. You might try Cleocin (clindamycin phosphate) vaginal cream. This could be a dietary issue or you could even have diabetes. If you seriously are having BV every month, get a pap & cultures to find a preventive move!
