Can pft show an obstruction in the neck area?

Not specific but: An plateau in the inspiratory part (breathing in) in the flow-volume loop suggests the presence of upper airway obstruction which is often at the throat level. The exact obstructive site however can only be established by direct laryngoscopy or at times a CT scan.
