GERD? : Gastroesophageal reflux or GERD (is that what you mean by LPR reflux?) can cause aspiration and bronchospasm. The refluxing acid can trickle down the airways (aspiration) & cause them to spasm. You can then get shortness of breath, wheezing & cough.
