A member asked:

Severe hip/pelvic pain during periods (pain meds sometimes sometimes do little to no help), and irregular periods that will come like every 2 months. ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

May need evaluation: Irregular and painful periods need to be evaluated by a physician. Blood tests can be done for evaluating hormone imbalances that can cause irregular periods. A pelvic ultrasound will reveal any pathology in the uterus. Make sure you see a physician who can evaluate you.
