Strep Throat: Yes, i would. It does seem a bit fast, but strep is nothing to monkey around with.

If persists: "strept throat" is contagious, especially with close contact. If your symproms persist and or worsen, than certainly getting tested yourself would not be a bad idea. Good luck.
