Pinched nerve: Your description sounds like it could be a pinched nerve coming out between the vertebrae in the upper spine. Perhaps working with a physical therapist would be helpful to learn some exercises to strengthen your core muscles and your back. If you get numbness or weakness in your arm, or if the pain doesn't go away, see a doctor.

Dunno but ...: The fact that it goes away in 5 minutes is reassuring. Bad things usually get worse with time, not get better. Could be neuromuscular or triggerpoint pain. Why don't you go to a good neurologist or a good acupuncturist if you can find one. Good luck!
