R/O FOLLICULITIS : Your symptoms sound like folliculitis or infection of the hair follicle. You need to be examined and course of therapy decided. You may need topical and or oral Antibiotics. If symptoms persist or worsen a Cyst/abscess can develop requiring surgical intervention. Seek prompt evaluation.
