Is it okay to take ibuprofen when i am recovering from a stomach virus? my neck is very sore from laying around wrong and tylenol (acetaminophen) isn't cutting it.

Not really: both Advil ( ibuprofen) and Aleve ( naproxyn sodium) can be very irritiaiting to the stomach lining. I suggest asking your PCP for a PPI or Donnatal (phenobarbital atropine hyoscyamine and scopolamine) rx.
