No: In the absence of isolated varicocele-related infertility, varicoceles pose absolutely "no" health risks, danger, or adverse effects on one's life or health. No treatment of any type, other than reassurance, is required in the vast majority of men who have a varicocele unless, as previously mentioned, it is affecting fertility or is causing persistent, bothersome discomfort which is quite rare.
