With naloxone second: Naloxone is a specific antidote to all of the opioids and is available in inhailable formulation. In NYC police carry it. It may throw addicts into seizure but when the alternative is death the choice isn't that difficult to make!

W/ antidote?: If an antidote was given,, recovery from an acute overdose occurs within 24 - 48 hours. Heroin is often mixed with other substances (adulterants), which can cause additional symptoms and organ damage. Hospitalization may be necessary.
