Cough...: A post-viral cough can last for many weeks if untreated. This type of cough-usually non-productive-is typically due to bronchospasm and a bronchodilator inhaler can help get rid of this cough faster. Any cough that continues for 2 weeks or longer should be seen by a doctor for diagnosis/treatment. The doctor can diagnose/treat a bronchospastic cough, thus decreasing cough duration! Good luck!!
