Stomach ulcers: Short answer,yes they can be dangerous and even fatal. Would at some point need a GI consult with possible upper endoscopy/biopsy to determine possible wise. Heliobacterium pylori testing maybe indicated and treatment then recommended. Most ulcers heal nicely without any long term effect,but does depend on cause of ulcer. Hoped I answered your question.
