Yes. Can't.: Ulcers are dangerous because they can bleed seriously and even perforate your stomach. Both are life threatening surgical emergencies. Ulcers are not removed they are treated with medications to halt acid production and antibiotics if there is an underlying helicobacter infection. Non steroidal medications must be stopped. There are other more rare causes which need specific treatment as well.
