Antabuse: Antabuse is not for occassional use. It should be used daily.

See below: Alcohol is a poison that never did anybody any good, ever, so stay away from it. Your question implies that you have a drinking problem and it would be prudent to abstain from alcohol and seek counselling. Wish you good health!

Not recommended: You are creating another dependence loop by using it as needed. Your best reference remains your treating doc and there should be no problem to stop the medication as soon as you become able to control your cravings and impulses.
