Oxygen saturation stays high when talking, but nosedives to mid 80% after stopping talking and is difficult to get above 95% again. why is this?

Mgt: I would recommend an overnight and daytime oxygen saturation test. This will provide information regarding your need for supplemental oxygen. A sleep study can also be ordered by your PCP.
