Either the H2: blockers like zantac (ranitidine) which reduces stomach acid secretion, or the proton pump inhibitors like omeprazole,which decrease stomach acid production even more effectively than zantac (ranitidine) or other H2 blockers. Continual use of them and avoiding stomach irritants like alcohol and aspirin and smoking will resolve the gastritis.
