A member asked:

Is it safe to live in an area with high radon gas levels?

A doctor has provided 1 answer
Dr. Bruce Jacobs answered

Its safe as long as: you have a mitigation system in your dwelling that gets rid of the gas(a fan system in the lowest level of your house that exits out of the roof)
