Careful: Good question! I'm not sure what is going on. One concern that came to mind is that the IV use has resulted in an infection in your heart and the symptoms reflect congestion at the heart level. I think a good physical exam and even blood work is indicated. Please look into medical as well as behavioral support for your SUD.
